Charlotte Tilbury has Announced a Historic Sponsorship with F1 Academy

Charlotte Tilbury is the first female-founded brand and the first beauty brand to sponsor F1 ACADEMY™️.

For all you F1 girlies out there this is the collaboration of your dreams.

Charlotte Tilbury has today been announced as an official partner of F1 ACADEMY 2024 - making this the beauty brand’s first-ever global sports sponsorship. As well as this, Charlotte Tilbury will also be the first beauty brand and the first female-founded brand to become a sponsor of F1 ACADEMY (a new project from Formula 1® to develop female drivers to progress to higher competition levels).

The partnership will bring to life the shared ethos of Charlotte Tilbury and F1 ACADEMY to empower everyone, everywhere to feel their most confident. In particular, Charlotte Tilbury will use its global platform to spotlight F1 ACADEMY’s incredible female drivers, helping them build their careers and shining a light on their achievements and talent, so that  wider audiences canlearn about the opportunities this F1 holds for women.

After all, figures have revealed that currently 40% of F1 fans are female, contributing to a total 2022 season, so it’s about time that the F1 ACADEMY secured a sponsor and we can’t think of a better brand to do it with.

If this is the first time you’ve heard of the F1 ACADEMY, to bing you up to speed - it’s an ambitious project from Formula 1® to develop and prepare female drivers to progress to higher levels of competition. The category is designed to give drivers access to more track time, racing and testing, as well as support with technical, physical, and mental preparations. It will provide young talent in junior categories with access to the fundamental level of experience needed to progress to higher levels of competition and join the Road to F1.

Over the 2024 season, Charlotte Tilbury will raise awareness of fifteen inspiring young drivers, all aged 16-25 including Lola Lovinfosse (18)  who is from France and has been racing for five years.
Lola will be driving the Charlotte Tilbury car, known as the ‘Charlotte Tilbury operated by Rodin Motorsport’ car, its livery, helmet, and racing suit features Charlotte Tilbury’s signature night crimson and rose gold colourways branding, emblazoned with the iconic Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips icon and Charlotte’s empowerment mantra ‘Makeup Your Destiny!’

When asked about the partnership Charlotte Tilbury MBE, President, Chairman, CCO and Founder of the brand said this “Empowering everyone, everywhere to unlock the magic of confidence has always been my passion and purpose – a vision shared by Susie Wolff and F1 ACADEMY. My brand was created for everyone, everywhere, and as a female-founder I’m thrilled that we’re the first ever beauty brand to support these powerhouse drivers through our partnership with the F1 ACADEMY.

We are standing proudly behind the incredible young women making waves in the fast-paced world of Formula 1®. Motorsport has a huge female following, and the drivers of F1 ACADEMY are already increasing representation and diversity in the sport. With this partnership, we will use our global platform to elevate this new generation of fearless young female drivers, and open up the traditionally male-dominated world of motorsport to even more talented young women.”

Susie Wolff MBE and Managing Director of F1 ACADEMY added ““At F1 ACADEMY we want young women and girls to feel confident to chase their dreams, no matter the odds. We are on a mission to transform access to our sport, celebrate trailblazing female pioneers in our industry, and inspire a new generation of young women to pursue a career in motorsport.

It’s a huge privilege to be partnering with Charlotte Tilbury, a brand whose values align so closely to our own. I want to thank Charlotte for believing in our mission and enabling us to reach a new audience of young women to showcase the opportunities available to them in our sport. Our message to them is simple: dare to dream.”
